Mari Ceramics Sp. z o.o. is hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”.

2. Products

The Shop sells handmade ceramic products, including cups, mugs, bowls, vases and other ceramic objects, as well as ceramic workshops.

Each product page contains the main characteristics of the product, including its dimensions, capacity, materials, price and available quantity, where applicable.

Because the products are handmade, individual pieces may differ slightly in shape, size, colour, glaze pattern and surface. Such natural variations are characteristics of handmade ceramics and are not defects, provided that the product conforms to its description and is safe and suitable for its intended use.

3. Prices

  • All prices are displayed in Polish zloty (PLN).
  • Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • The total price of the order, including delivery costs and any other applicable charges, is displayed before the customer confirms the purchase.
  • The Seller reserves the right to change prices for future purchases. A price change does not affect an order already placed and confirmed.
  • Promotional prices and discounts are displayed together with the information required by applicable law concerning the previous price.

4. Orders

To place an order, the customer:

  • selects a product;
  • adds it to the shopping cart;
  • provides the required information;
  • selects an available delivery or collection method;
  • selects a payment method;
  • confirms the order and payment.

Before placing the order, the customer can review and correct the information provided.

After placing an order, the customer receives an order confirmation by email.

A sales contract is concluded when the Seller confirms acceptance of the order.

5. Payment

  • Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.
  • Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe.
  • The Seller does not have access to the customer's full payment card details.

6. Delivery and collection

The available delivery methods, delivery costs and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout.

The Seller currently offers:

  • delivery within Poland by Inpost/DPD/DHL or similar;
  • free collection from the studio at ul. Opaczewska 12, 02-368 Warszawa, Polska.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, orders are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the delivery provider.

For orders containing several products, the delivery charge displayed at checkout applies.

Risk of accidental loss or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the goods are delivered to the consumer or to a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

7. Complaints and conformity of goods with the contract

The Seller is responsible for the conformity of the goods with the contract in accordance with applicable Polish consumer law.

If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, the customer may exercise their statutory rights, including the rights to have the goods brought into conformity with the contract and, where applicable, to a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.

A complaint can be submitted by email to: marynapastukhova@gmail.com. Please include:

  • order number;
  • name and contact details;
  • description of the problem;
  • date the problem was noticed;
  • photographs or other information that may help us understand the issue, if available.

The Seller will respond to a consumer complaint within the period required by applicable law.

Customers are not required to submit a complaint within 14 days of discovering a problem. Statutory consumer rights apply for the periods and under the conditions provided by law.

8. Handmade products

Each Mari Ceramics piece is handmade. Small differences in:

  • shape;
  • dimensions;
  • colour;
  • glaze distribution;
  • texture;
  • small surface variations

may occur between individual pieces.

These characteristics are part of the handmade nature of the product and do not constitute defects where the product remains safe, functional and consistent with its description.

9. Product safety

Mari Ceramics Sp. z o.o. manufactures and sells handmade ceramic products.

Product-specific safety and use information is provided on the relevant product page where applicable.

Customers should use products only for their intended purpose and follow any care or safety instructions provided with the product.

Where a product is intended for contact with food or beverages, the Seller provides information regarding its suitability for such use.

Customers should contact the Seller if they have any questions regarding the safe use of a product.

10. Right of withdrawal

A consumer who enters into a distance contract generally has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to statutory exceptions.

The withdrawal period for goods begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform the Seller of their decision before the withdrawal period expires. The customer may send the withdrawal statement to: marynapastukhova@gmail.com.

The customer may use the model withdrawal form provided in these Terms, but is not required to do so.

After exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after informing the Seller of the withdrawal.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless the Seller has agreed otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise.

The customer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The Seller will refund the payments received from the customer in accordance with applicable law. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned. The refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method.

11. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases where the law expressly provides an exception. This may include, in particular, goods:

  • made according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
  • or other goods/services for which the statutory exception applies.

A handmade product is not automatically excluded from the right of withdrawal merely because it is handmade.

12. Workshops

Workshop bookings are governed by the separate Workshop Terms and Conditions available on the website.

Because workshops may take place on a specific date or within a specific period, statutory rules concerning the right of withdrawal may differ from those applicable to ordinary product purchases.

13. Intellectual property

All photographs, graphics, texts, logos and other content on the website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. They may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without the Seller's permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Shop's Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

The Seller may update these Terms where necessary, including due to changes in law, payment methods, delivery methods or the operation of the Shop. The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the order was placed.

16. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law. Consumer disputes will be handled by the courts competent under applicable law.

2. Returns & Withdrawal

You have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase of a standard product without giving a reason. The 14-day period starts when you receive the product.

To withdraw, email marynapastukhova@gmail.com with:

  • your name;

  • the product you are returning;
  • a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.

You can also use the withdrawal form below.

You may handle the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose.

Return shipping costs are normally paid by the customer.

Refunds are made in accordance with applicable law and normally using the original payment method.

Important

The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to products covered by statutory exceptions, including genuinely personalised or made-to-order products where the legal conditions for the exception are met.

For private or corporate workshops, different cancellation terms may apply and will be agreed with the customer before booking.

3. Cancellation by Mari Ceramics

If Mari Ceramics cancels a workshop, the customer will be offered:

  • a transfer to another available date; or

4. Finished ceramics

Where a workshop includes firing of ceramic pieces, the pieces will be fired after the workshop. The estimated completion time is approximately 2 weeks.

Because ceramics are handmade and undergo a high-temperature firing process, pieces may occasionally crack, warp or otherwise fail during drying or firing despite reasonable care.

Finished pieces can be collected from ul. Opaczewska 12, 02-368 Warszawa, Polska within 14 days of notification that they are ready. Shipping may be available for an additional fee.

6. Workshop safety

Participants must follow studio safety instructions and instructions given by the workshop instructor.

Children may participate only where specifically permitted by the workshop description and under the conditions stated there.

7. Alcohol
